Well since I've been brought back to 9-11 by the film I saw yesterday, might as well make my feelings on this issue known.
They should rebuild. But no, they're not going to. Instead of rebuilding and showing the terrorists that they can't cow us, we'll have a nice monument to defeat. Real nice, huh.
But, hey, no one would have wanted office space anyway, right? Because it could happen again. Well, not if we eradicate the problem.
Still, I would have made it a point to go to the buildings once they were rebuilt. I didn't go to Ground Zero because if I didn't go while the buildings were there I sure as hell wasn't going to when they were gone.
Fuckers. This really sucks. Nice legacy of fear we're leaving. I'm sure the people that were on United 93 are real proud of us.
Sometimes I wish I were in charge of things. I may be totally bat shit fucking crazy but I do know right from wrong. *sighs*
Well, at least some of us still have the fighting spirit that made America great.

But if it was up to me, I would have rebuilt... just to make the point :)

What gets me is the hypocrisy of them all. They hate us, yet they are perfectly happy to use cell phones and have websites and all that evil American technology.

I don't think the country or the world would survive us being in charge of anything. {Trembles in fear at the horrifying thought}
